The Nokia X71 smartphone was unveiled in Taiwan on April 2. The handset is expected to arrive in other markets in the near future. Apart from Taiwan, one of the first markets to receive it is China since it has bagged approval from TENAA certification agency.
The Nokia TA-1172 has appeared with minimum specs on TENAA. Its TENAA listing so far reveals that it measures 156.89 x 76.15 x 7.98mm and it houses a 6.39-inch display. The smartphone is equipped with a 3,400 mAh (minimum capacity) battery. The TENAA images have revealed that the smartphone will be featuring a punch-hole screen and a vertical triple camera setup.
Recently, the Nokia X71 and Nokia 6 (2019) (aka Nokia 6.2) was spotted with the same TAS codename in OTA firmware from FIH server. This suggested that both are one and the same phone. Hence, there is a possibility that the Nokia X71 could be hitting the Chinese markets as Nokia 6.2.
The Nokia X71 is fueled by Snapdragon 660 SoC and 6 GB of RAM. It includes 48-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera setup and a 16-megapixel frontal shooter. It has an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. The handset carries support for 18W fast charging.
