Nubia Red Magic 2 with Snapdragon 845 SoC currently in the work

According to renown leaker Roland Quandt, Nubia is currently working on the next generation’s Red Magic gaming smartphone following the success of their current unit.

This upcoming gaming powerhouse will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 845 SoC and will be featuring a series of shoulder buttons which the company believes could improve the mobile gaming experience for the users.

As of now, there aren’t many gaming smartphones in the market aside from Nubia’s Red Magic, Xiaomi’s Black Shark as well as the Razer Phone. Among the three, the Red Magic and the Black Shark gaming phone remain the most popular gaming phones in the Chinese market.

Although the Razer Phone is indeed impressive, but it still couldn’t compete with the likes of Nubia and Xiaomi when it comes to competitively priced smartphones. Of course, with their soaring reputation in the mobile gaming industry, Nubia will definitely want to introduce yet another state-of-art gaming smartphone to maintain their dominance in the market.

For now, let’s wait patiently for more information on this exciting handset!
