Soon after Honor teased that it will be launching the Honor Magic 2 smartphone with sliding design, Xiaomi shared the full frontal image of the Mi MIX 3. The image suggested that the handset will be arriving with a slider design like the Honor Magic 2 and Oppo Find X. It is speculated that unlike the motorized slider mechanism available on the Find X and Vivo NEX’s pop-up camera, the Mi MIX 3 will feature a manual slider design. A leaked video has surfaced to reveal that the Mi MIX 3 will indeed come with a manual slider design.
The below video shows the alleged Mi MIX 3 with slider design. The handset marvelous display that offers a very screen-to-body ratio. When the display is moved down, it reveals the different components such as earpiece and selfie camera that is placed on the other half of the phone.

It is recommended to digest the report with a grain of salt since there is no direct proof to confirm that the handset shown in the above video is really the upcoming Mi MIX 3 phone.

As far as the launch date of the Mi MIX 3 is concerned, it will be unveiled in the next month. Xiaomi’s Director of Product Management Dunovan Sung has recently shared an image of a mysterious phone that supports 5G connectivity. It is speculated that it could be the Xiaomi Mi MIX 3.
