Since the beginning of this year, Nubia has been hinting on the arrival of its 5G-ready Red Magic gaming phone. The phone is yet to declare its official name. However, the company has been busy teasing some of its features. Today, Nubia President and co-founder Ni Fei shared a video on Weibo to showcase the wireless screen projection feature of the upcoming Red Magic 5G phone.
In the above video, the Red Magic 5G phone is seen placed inside a protective case which does well in hiding its design. However, the display of the phone is clearly visible. There is no waterdrop notch or punch-hole on the display of the device. It appears that the next Red Magic phone from the company will continue to sport a notch-less display like the predecessor Red Magic 3S. The top bezel of the phone has a selfie snapper.
Also, the wireless screen projection feature allows owners of the new Red Magic 5G phone to seamlessly enjoy games on a larger screen. As it can be seen, the low latency while screen projection makes the gameplay experience more enjoyable.
As it is already known, the Red Magic 5G phone that has a model number of NX659J will provide users with refresh rate option such as 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz. The phone is fueled by Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.
The handset has triple rear cameras. Its 3C certification has revealed that it will possibly ship with a 55W charging. Hopefully, it will be housing a 5,000mAh battery. The launch date of the device is currently under the wraps. However, rumors surrounding the device state that it will go official in Q1 this year.
