Nubia Red Magic 5G Phone to Debut on March 12

On the first day of the year 2020, Nubia teased the arrival of the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform driven Nubia Red Magic 5G. Since then the details of the phone have appeared in multiple leaks and official teaser, but its launch date wasn’t confirmed. Today, the Chinese firm confirmed that it will be announcing the Nubia Red Magic 5G on March 12.

Nubia claims that the Red Magic 5G phone will be arriving as the world’s first 5G gaming phone with 144Hz refresh rate supporting screen. Earlier today, Nubia CEO Ni Fei revealed that the Red Magic 5G phone that has a model number of NX659J scored a marvelous score of 633,724 in AnTuTu benchmarks and 563,588 in Master Lu benchmarks. The smartphone will be rivaling with the Black Shark 3 series of smartphones from Xiaomi that will break cover tomorrow in China.

A real image of the smartphone had appeared recently. It revealed the amazing red-blue colored rear shell of the device. The handset found to be equipped with triple rear cameras. It is said to be equipped with 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 main lens.  

The SoC of the Red Magic 5G phone could be coupled with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The handset is said to be backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W fast charging. The phone will also arrive with support for low latency wireless cast support. At present, there is no word on the pricing of the Red Magic 5 phone.
