Nubia Red Magic 5G will be available in two color variants

Earlier this week, we’d already seen the live images of the upcoming Nubia Red Magic 5G courtesy of it’s official TENAA listing. The images show off the device in a nice blend of Blue and Red colors on it’s rear panel.

Right now, Nubia had released the official promo materials of the Red Magic 5G which revealed that the device will be available in a total of two color options. Besides the one which we’d saw previously, there will also be a Black variant as well.

In fact, the device will also be available in a special Transparent Edition model which is likely to command a hefty price tag. This variant however, is expected to be available only in limited quantity.

Needless to say, the Red Magic 5G is probably the biggest threat to the current Black Shark 3 and 3 Pro. The device currently sits at the top of AnTuTu benchmark after it achieved a record-breaking score of 633,724 points.

Similar to the rest of the recent flagship devices, the Red Magic 5G will rock a Snapdragon 865 SoC at the helm. It will be equipped with the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 flash storage technologies which ensure a superior performance for the device.

Besides that, the Red Magic 5G will also be the first gaming flagship to arrive with a buttery-smooth 144Hz screen refresh rate. Bear in mind, the Black Shark 3 and iQOO 3 5G could only support up to 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates respectively.

Unsurprisingly, the device will also bring fast-charging to a brand new level. The company had recently confirmed that the Red Magic 5G will be able to support up to 55W fast-charging as well.

However, what’s significant here is that the “Air-cooled turbine” (Google translate) fast-charging technology employed by the Red Magic 5G will in fact, charges faster than other 55W fast-charging technologies.
