Nubia is about to announce their latest Red Magic 5G flagship on March 12th later this month. This device had successfully dethroned the Black Shark 3 Pro to became the top-scorer on AnTuTu after it achieved a record-breaking score of 633,724 points.
Today, Nubia had continued their daily teasing campaign for the Red Magic 5G by revealing that the device will support up to 55W fast-charging. Although 55W fast-charging support is comparatively faster than most flagship devices, but it’s definitely slower than the recently announced Black Shark 3 which could support up to 65W fast-charging.
However, Nubia claimed that the “Air-cooled turbine” (Google translate) fast-charging technology employed by the Red Magic 5G will in fact, charges faster than other 55W fast-charging technologies. It is obvious here that the company is probably referring to the iQOO 3 5G which also support 55W fast-charging.
Besides having a blazing-fast charging speed, the Red Magic 5G will also be the first gaming flagship to arrive with a buttery-smooth 144Hz screen refresh rate. In comparison, the Black Shark 3 and iQOO 3 5G support only 90Hz and 120Hz refresh rates respectively.
Although the Nubia Red Magic 5G is a gaming-centric phone, but it will also feature an impressive 64 megapixels Sony IMX686 main shooter in it’s triple-camera setup at the back. Under the hood, it’s built-in cooling fan is capable of reaching 15,000 RPM which ensures that heat is able to dissipate rapidly under intense gaming condition.
