Nubia had held an unveil event in China yesterday to announce the Nubia Z20 flagship phone. Like the Nubia X dual display smartphone from last year, the Nubia Z20 is also equipped with two screens. It is fueled by the Snapdragon 855+ chipset that was announced in the previous month.
Nubia Z20 Specifications
The Nubia Z20 smartphone comes with a 6.42-inch notch-less OLED display on the front. It supports full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The backside of the phone is also fitted with a 5.1-inch OLED display. However, it supports HD+ resolution. Both displays carry support for Always-On Display and HDR10+ content
The Snapdragon 855+ chipset is present under the hood of the device along with 6 GB and 8 GB of RAM. It comes in 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB storage versions. There is no microSD card slot on the device. The handset is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery that is equipped with 27W fast charging technology.
Like the Nubia X, the Nubia Z20 does not feature a front-facing snapper. For snapping topnotch selfies, users can make use of the triple cameras on the rear along with the rear screen as viewfinder. The triple camera setup of the Nubia Z20 features a Sony IMX586 48-megapixel primary lens with OIS, an ultrawide 16-megapixel camera and a 3x optical zoom supporting 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The smartphone is capable at 8K videos, but at 15fps. The handset runs on Nubia UI flavored Android 9 Pie OS. It also features two side-mounted fingerprint scanners.
Nubia Z20 Price and Release Date
The Nubia Z20 will be hitting the Chinese markets on Aug. 16. Its 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 512 GB storage are respectively priced at 3,499 Yuan ($496), 3,699 Yuan ($525) and 4,199 Yuan ($595). Its color variants like Starry Blue, Koi Red and Black.
