Recent reports have claimed that Nubia is working on the Nubia Z60 Ultra flagship phone for the Chinese market. Today, the brand not only officially confirmed the moniker but also revealed its launch timeframe. 8879599057
According to the company, the Nubia Z60 Ultra will be announced in December. While it has not been confirmed officially, the device will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This means the Z60 Ultra will compete with the likes of the Xiaomi 14 series, the iQOO 12 lineup, the Vivo X100 series, the Redmi K70 Pro, the MeIzu 21, the OmePlus 12, and the Realme GT 5 Pro. To recall, Nubia’s Red Magic 9 and 9 Pro+ are also equipped with the SD8G3 chip.

The Nubia Z60 Ultra’s teaser hints that it will offer a full-screen experience thanks to the inclusion of an under-screen front camera. It is speculatedthat the OLED panel will offer a 1.5K resolution. Back in October, the Nubia Z60 Ultra was spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform with specs such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12 GB of RAM, and Android 14 with a layer of My OS on top.
It may arrive with a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W charging. On the front, the Z60 Ultra may feature a 16-megapixel selfie snapper. The rear camera module of the device may include an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera.
