Realme GT 5 Pro display specifications confirmed, 12GB+256GB may cost 3,499 Yuan ($495)

Realme will be announcing the Realme GT 5 Pro flagship phone on Dec. 7 in China. Today, the brand rolled out a poster to confirm the display specifications of the GT 5 Pro. In addition, the company’s CMO has revealed details about the base variant of the device.

The Realme GT 5 Pro will feature a curved-edge OLED display supplied by BOE, featuring a high-resolution 1.5K display. With an 8T LTPO technology, the adaptive refresh rate ranges from 0.5Hz to 144Hz, ensuring smooth visuals. The Pro-XDR HDR enhances dynamic range, while the display achieves a peak brightness of 4500 nits and a global max brightness of 1600 nits, certified by TÜV.

Further, it incorporates advanced features like 2160Hz PWM dimming, a touch sampling rate of 2160Hz, DC dimming, and 20000 level dimming for an immersive visual experience. As far as display size is concerned, the TENAA certification of the device revealed that it will measure 6.78 inches.

Realme China CMO Xu Qi has confirmed that the Realme GT 5 Pro’s base model will offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. To recall, an image of the retailer listing of the GT 5 Pro that was being circulated on Weibo yesterday revealed that it will have a starting price of 3,499 Yuan ($495). At that time, it was said that the 8GB+256GB edition of the device may carry this price. However, it can be said based on Xu Qi’s Weibo post that the 12GB+256GB variant of the GT 5 Pro will cost 3,499 Yuan ($495).

The Realme GT 5 Pro will compete with the likes of the Xiaomi 14 series, iQOO 12 series, Meizu 21, and the upcoming OnePlus 12 in the Chinese market. The GT 5 Pro is also expected to launch in the global market next year.
