The Black Shark 5 series smartphones were launched back in March this year in the Chinese market. Now, the company has finally confirmed that the highly anticipated smartphone series will be heading to the global market on June 8th next month.
According to the teasers released by the company, a total of two models – Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro – are expected to be announced during the forthcoming launch event. The Black Shark 5 RS on the other hand, is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
Among the two devices heading to the global market, the Black Shark 5 Pro is clearly the higher-end model sporting a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset along with an advanced implementation of the SSD array system that allows the device to amass a whopping score of 1,062,747 points on AnTuTu – making it the best-preforming flagship phone in the market.
The Black Shark 5 on the other hand is a more affordable model powered by a slightly toned-down Snapdragon 870 chipset as well as an equally fast 120W charging speed – just like the Black Shark 5 Pro.
