After launching the Wildfire E3 Lite smartphone last week, HTC is now back with a slightly higher-end model dubbed as the Wildfire E2 Play in the global market. The new model comes with a 6.82” IPS LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
For photography, the phone relies on a triple rear camera system lead by a 48 megapixels main camera which will be assisted by a 5 megapixels ultra-wide unit and a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots.
Under the hood, the Wildfire E2 Play is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T606 chipset in addition to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. To keep it’s lights on, the phone is equipped with a respectable 4,600mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different colors such as Black and Blue. Sad to say, HTC has yet to announce the official pricing and availability of the Wildfire E2 Play at the time of writing.
