Vivo X Fold2 will be coming with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2

Vivo had already confirmed that the company’s upcoming foldable – Vivo X Fold2 – will be launching on April 20th next week alongside the X Flip and Pad 2. Ahead of it’s official launch, key details pertaining to the device had surfaced, with the latest info coming with Geekbench which confirmed that the X Fold2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset under the hood.

Aside from that, the same listing also revealed that the phone will be arriving with 12GB RAM which is likely to be paired with at least 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. As for other hardware specs, past reports had suggested that the X Fold2 will feature a 6.53” E6 AMOLED outer screen and a 8.03” E6 AMOLED display when unfolded.

In the imaging department, the device is expected to sport a triple rear camera system lead by a 50 megapixels Sony IMX866 main camera and a pair of 12 megapixels Sony IMX633 shooter for ultra-wide and zoomed shots. For selfies and video call, the phone relies on a 32 megapixels camera present on each display.
