Chinese smartphone giant iQOO has unveiled a new mid-range model in it’s domestic market known as the iQOO Z6 which is an entirely different model as the one that was launched in the Indian market previously despite sharing the same moniker.
The new iQOO Z6 features a 6.64” IPS LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution along with a fast 120Hz refresh rate that aims to deliver a smooth user experience. It’s also backed with an 8 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.
Over on the rear side, it sports a rectangular-shaped camera island which houses a trio of cameras including a 64 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for selfies and video calls.
The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G+ chipset which will be paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. Other than that, it also features a respectable 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support.
Coming to the software side of things, the iQOO Z6 will be shipped with a custom OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12 OS out of the box. Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways such as Black, Orange and Blue.
Pricing for the phone kicks off from just 1,699 Yuan ($247) for the 8GB+128GB base model and goes up to 2,099 Yuan ($305) for the maxed out model with 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. In fact, there’s also a midway model with 8GB+256GB which is priced at 1,899 Yuan ($276).
