Official: Motorola Moto E22 debuts with MediaTek Helio G37 & 16MP dual cameras

Motorola has unveiled a new entry-level smartphone dunned as the Moto E22 in the European market. Unlike the recently announced Edge 30 Ultra, the new Moto E22 is an entry-level smartphone bearing an affordable launch price of just 140 Euros ($140).

The new Motorola Moto E22 comes with a 6.5” IPS LCD display featuring a HD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera that handles selfies and video calls. The back of the phone also has a dual-cam setup comprising of a 16 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit for portraits.

Under the hood, the Motorola Moto E22 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.

Other than that, the phone also features a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IP52 rating, as well as Android 12 OS.
