As scheduled, OnePlus has officially announced the new OnePlus Ace Pro smartphone in the Chinese market. Despite launching under the Ace series lineup, this device is basically a rebranded model of the OnePlus 10T which was launched in the global market last week.
The OnePlus Ace Pro builds around a 6.7” Fluid AMOLED display featuring a FHD+ screen resolution, smooth 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, as well as HDR10+ support. Coming to the imaging front, the OnePlus Ace Pro relies on a triple-cam setup on the rear side comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera for close-up shots. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera that will handle selfies and video calls on the device.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace Pro is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset which will be paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage in the memory department. The phone will also be backed by a respectable 4,800mAh battery which carries support for a 150W fast wired charging.
Software-wise, the OnePlus Ace Pro ships with ColorOS 12.1 (based on Android 12 OS) instead of OxygenOS 12.1. It will be offered in two different colorways such as Moonstone Black and Jade Green, and is priced starting at 3,499 Yuan ($715) for it’s 12GB+256GB base model.
