Redmi has launched a couple of the Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones in different markets. However, it hasn’t launched a Redmi 11 series phone yet. A new report by Xiaomiui talks about the existence of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G. It appears that the device may go official soon in India.
The publication has come across the Redmi 11 Prime 5G moniker in the IMEI database. The listing reveals that it has a 22041219I model number. To recall, the Redmi Note 11E 5G, which debuted earlier this year in China, has the 22041219C model number.
Hence, it appears that the Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be a rebranded version of China’s Redmi Note 11E 5G. Readers should note that the POCO M4 5G, which recently debuted in India, is also a rebadged Note 11E 5G.
Redmi 11 Prime 5G Specifications (Expected)
The Redmi 11 Prime 5G may feature a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Dimensity 700 chipset is likely to power the device with 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM. The device may arrive with 64 GB / 128 GB of storage. It will run on the Android 12 OS and MIUI 13.
The device may come with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit. It may house a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
