The OPPO Reno 8 4G is currently in development. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore has come across a retailer listing of the device before its official announcement. It appears that it will not take too long for the smartphone to go official in the coming days.
OPPO Reno 8 4G Specifications
The listing reveals that the OPPO Reno 8 4G will arrive with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole at its top-left corner. It will offer a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It seems to be equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Snapdragon 680 will be present under the hood of the OPPO Reno 8 4G. The device will offer 8 GB of RAM, 5 GB of extended RAM, and 256 GB of native storage.
On the front, it will feature a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera, which is also available on the Reno 8 5G and the Reno 8 Pro 5G. The rear camera setup of the phone will have a 64-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel depth-assist lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and an LED flash. It looks like the edges of the camera module will be lit up with RGB lighting, which could be used to show notifications.
The OPPO Reno 8 4G will come preloaded with ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 OS. It will pack a 4,500mAh battery, which will support 33W SuperVOOC charging.
The images show that the device has a microphone on the top edge, a power button on the right edge, and volume buttons with a SIM slot on the left side. Its bottom edge has a 3.5mm audio jack, a microphone, a USB-C port, and a speaker grille. It will come in Daylight Gold and Starlight Black colors
