OnePlus will be launching the OnePlus 10T smartphone in India and the global market on Aug. 3. Today, the Chinese wing of the brand confirmed that it will be announcing the OnePlus Ace Pro at 7:30 PM (local time) on Aug. 3 in China. According to reports, the OnePlus 10T will be called the OnePlus Ace Pro in China.
OnePlus has released a promo video to reveal the OnePlus Ace Pro’s design. It reveals that the device’s display features a punch-hole at the top-centre position. The rear side of the phone features a square-shaped camera module housing a triple camera unit and a ring LED flash.
The promo video confirms that the OnePlus Ace Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform. Ahead of the launch, the handset is now listed for reservations on the company’s official online store.
OnePlus Ace Pro Specifications (Rumored)
The OnePlus Ace Pro is expected to arrive with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with support for Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 powered device will come equipped with 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. It will run on Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1.
The Ace Pro will house a 4,800mAh battery with support for 150W fast charging. The rear side of the phone will feature a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766) main camera with OIS support, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro snapper. For selfies, it will be fitted with a 32-megapixel front camera.
The OnePlus 10T will pack the same specs but offer different cameras. It is expected to come with a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766 with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit and a 16-megapixel front camera.
