Recently, we’d heard rumors that Realme might be launching the new Realme Q2 series smartphones on October 13th. This turns out to be true after the company officially confirmed on Weibo that the Q2 series devices will be launched on October 13th next week.
It came shortly after Realme’s CMO published an official render of a Realme Q2 series smartphone which is widely believed to be the Realme Q2 Pro due to the presence of a quad camera setup at the back.
Although there isn’t much information pertaining to the Realme Q2 Pro, but we do know quite a bit about the vanilla Realme Q2 courtesy of it’s TENAA listing.
Based on the preliminary details revealed on TENAA database, the upcoming Realme Q2 will be featuring a 6.5-inches FHD+ LCD display that comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
In the camera department, the Realme Q2 will boast a triple camera system consisting of a 48 megapixels primary shooter paired with an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens and a 2 megapixels sensor likely to be a depth or macro camera. This will be rounded up by a 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
Under the hood, it will be powered by an octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 800U chipset. To keep its lights on, there is also a huge 5,000mAh battery rumored to carry support for 65W fast-charging.
