Huawei Mate40 Series will be launched globally on October 22nd

It seems like the most wonderful time of the year will soon be arriving for all Huawei fans out there. According to well-accredited leaker Evan Blass, the highly anticipated Huawei Mate40 series flagship phones will be making its global debut on October 22nd later this month.

This time round, the Mate40 series is expected to feature a total of four different models including the vanilla Huawei Mate40, Mate40 Pro, Mate40 Pro+, as well as a Porsche Design variant.

Huawei Mate40 Series Launch Date

At current stage, there isn’t much information pertaining to the official specs of the Mate40 series lineup. However, based on earlier rumors, the Mate40 series devices are expected to feature the all-new HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipset which is likely to be the last flagship chip designed by Huawei’s HiSilicon due to the ongoing trade ban.

Other than that, recent certification listings in China have also hinted that the Mate40 series phones will carry support for up to 66W fast-charging. In terms of design, earlier renders had revealed that the Mate40 series devices will be arriving with a curved panel at the front and are expected to retain a circular camera housing at the back.

Needless to say, more information pertaining to the devices are expected to pour in as we approach closer to its launch. So stay tuned for more updates!
