At the event, the company will be unveiling the Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, the Mi Pad 5 Pro 12.4, the Buds 4 Pro, and the Watch S1 Pro. Today, the Chinese company confirmed that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will also be shown off tomorrow.
The launch date poster also teases the camera module of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. Previous reports had claimed that it would have a 200-megapixel main camera. But a recent leak showed that the camera setup will include a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP6 camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
Reports have revealed that the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will be equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen, which will offer a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. It is also expected to have a 120Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint scanner under the screen.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition. It is expected to arrive in two models, such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
For selfies, it will feature a 20-megapixel camera on the front. The device will boot to the Android 12 OS with MIUI 13 on top. After the official announcement, the device will probably be called the Redmi K50 Ultra.
