Besides launching the POVA Neo 2, Tecno has also unveiled a new 5G model of last year’s POVA Neo 4G that comes with a brand new design along with slightly bumped up specs under the hood.
The new model brings along a 6.8” IPS LCD display featuring a FHD+ screen resolution, ultra-smooth 120Hz refresh rate as well as an 8 megapixels front-facing camera that sits within a centered punch-hole cutout.
Over on the imaging front, the Tecno POVA Neo 5G also has a pair of rear-facing cameras comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera as well as an unspecified auxiliary camera. That’s certainly a nice upgrade over the POVA Neo 4G which has a 13 megapixels main camera instead.
Under the hood, the phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which will be paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that’s further expandable by 1TB via a microSD card.
Keeping it’s lights on is a respectable 6,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast wired charging. Aside from that, the phone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack as well as HiOS based on Android 12 OS.
For those who’re interested, the Tecno POVA Neo 5G is available in both Sapphire Black and Sprint Blue colorways, and is priced at INR 15,499 ($191) in the Indian market.
