Chinese smartphone giant Vivo has announced a new entry-level smartphone known as the Y27 4G in the South-East Asian market. The new model packs a 6.64” IPS LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.
On the imaging front, it comes with a dual-ring camera design which houses a pair of rear-facing cameras that include a 50 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensing unit for portraits. This will be rounded out by an 8 megapixels front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y27 4G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset which will be paired up with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that supports further expansion via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Y27 4G is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast wired charging support. As far as software is concerned, the phone will be shipped with Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box.
Those who’re interested can pick the phone from two different color options such as Sea Blue and Burgundy Black. Pricing for the Vivo Y27 4G is set at just RM699 ($154) in the Malaysian market.
