Vivo has officially unveiled a new Y series smartphone in the Thai market known as the Vivo Y30 5G. In terms of specs, this model appears to share a close similarity as the Vivo Y33e 5G that was announced back in May this year.
The new Vivo Y30 5G smartphone builds around a 6.51” IPS LCD display offering a HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate. For selfies and video calls, the phone relies on an 8 megapixels front-facing camera which sits within the waterdrop-notch along the upper bezel.
Over on the rear side, the Vivo Y30 5G features a dual-cam setup comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera as well as a 2 megapixels bokeh lens which supposedly helps with portrait shots. Other than that, there’s also a LED flash which will come in handy when shooting in low-light environment.
The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset which will be paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card. It draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery which recharges at a modest 10W charging speed.
As usual, the Vivo Y30 5G will be shipped with FuntouchOS 12.0 based on Android 12 OS out of the box. It’ll be offered in two different colorways such as Starlight Black and Rainbow Fantasy. In the Thai market, the Vivo Y30 5G will be priced at 8,699 Baht ($ for it’s 6GB+128GB trim.
