OnePlus had previously confirmed that the company will be launching it’s next-generation’s OnePlus 10 series smartphones in January next year. Although OnePlus has yet to announce the actual launch date, but the company has already listed the OnePlus 10 Pro for registrations (of interest) in the Chinese market with first round of pre-sale taking place on January 4th.
From what we’d learned from past reports, the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7” curved AMOLED display that offers a QHD+ screen resolution as well as a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Other than that, it’s also likely to come with a 32 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video calls.
In the imaging department, the OnePlus 10 Pro reportedly flaunts a triple-camera unit headlined by a 48 megapixels main camera, 50 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as an 8 megapixels telephoto lens that offers up to 3x optical zoom.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 10 Pro will undoubtedly be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which should be paired with at least 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 flash storage. Software-wise, the OnePlus 10 Pro is likely to be the first OnePlus device to be shipped with Android 12 OS right off the box.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone will supposedly be backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support. Apart from the OnePlus 10 Pro, the company is also expected to announce the vanilla OnePlus 10 during the same launch event.
