This year too, Xiaomi will be releasing the Xiaomi 12 Ultra to take on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Some reports have claimed that OnePlus is also readying an Ultra-branded flagship. While it is unclear whether it will be called the OnePlus 10 Ultra, the rumors have been gradually spilling some information about the Ultra variant. Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared some key details of the OnePlus 10 Ultra. In addition, he has also leaked information about other OnePlus phones.
According to the tipster, the OnePlus 10 Ultra has entered the testing phase. He has claimed that the device will be powered by the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset. He went on to say that the company’s primary focus will be on the device’s photography capabilities.
A previous tweet from Brar hinted that the OnePlus 10 Ultra could be equipped with OPPO’s MariSilicon X NPU for image processing. The device is expected to become available in the third quarter of this year, according to rumors. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the other specs of the device.
Brar’s latest tweet further mentions that the OnePlus 10 is also planned for different markets. Some markets may receive the Dimensity 9000 chipset variant of the device, whereas others could be treated to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC edition.
Rumors have already revealed that the company is planning to launch the OnePlus Nord 3 and the Dimensity 1300 powered OnePlus Nord 2T. Brar claims that the company also plans to launch more Nord-branded mid-range phones powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset and Dimensity 9000 SoC.
Lastly, the tipster mentioned that OnePlus will also announce a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 powered smartphone this year. While the tipster has not mentioned it, it appears that the SD7G1 OnePlus device may arrive on the market as a Nord branded device.
