Recently, OnePlus announced an event that will take place on Dec. 4 in China. At that time, it was thought that the brand would announce the OnePlus 12 on the said date. However, the brand has officially confirmed that the OP12 will be announced at 2:30 pm (local time) on Dec. 5 in China. The poster below not only confirms the date but also reveals its design.
The OnePlus 12 is confirmed to arrive in three shades. As per a previous leak, the three color variants of the device will be called Rock Black, White, and Pale Green. There is a possibility that there could be a special edition version of the device featuring a wood-textured back panel.

Reports have revealed that the OnePlus 12 will have a 6.82-inch BOE X1 OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, a 2K resolution, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The device will come preloaded with ColorOS 14-based Android 14.
For selfies, the OnePlus 12 will have a 32-megapixel front camera. Its rear shell will have a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary camera with OIS support. The main snapper will be joined by a 48-megapixel IMX581 ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will power the OnePlus 12 with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It is expected to ship with up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It will pack a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. At present, there is no word on the price of the device.
