Earlier this morning, OnePlus has begun the long awaited Android Pie update for their OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones which are currently running on the Android Oreo OS. The same update will also bring the new Oxygen 9.0.2 to the devices.
While the update came a little bit late, but its nonetheless an awesome news for the OnePlus 3 and 3T owners. The new goodies that come along in this software update include a brand new gesture navigation, improved User Interface and battery life, OnePlus’s “Do Not Disturb” mode, Game Mode 3.0, Google Duo intergration within the Dialer app, as well as the integration of Google Lens in the camera app.
As this update will be rolled out in different phases, do not panic if you’ve yet to receive any update notifications. Alternatively, you can also go to Settings> About Phone> Check for update to manually check for the update.
