OnePlus is known for teasing the specs and features few weeks before officially launching its flagship phone. On Weibo, the Chinese has released a new teaser that hints the name of its flagship as well as its arrival timeframe
.
Rumors have revealed that OnePlus will be calling the successor of OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones as OnePlus 5. The probably reason why the company does not want to call it OnePlus 4 is that the number 4 is considered as bad omen as it is related to death in China. A new teaser on Weibo that carries the text “Hello 5” hints that the Chinese firm will launch its upcoming flagship as OnePlus 5.
Also, the text “Hey Summer! Give me five!” suggests that the device will debut at this summer. It means that the phone may launch either in next month or in early Q3. The company has not revealed any details on the specifications of the phone, but speculations are rife that the OnePlus 5 would be coming with specs like 5.5-inch full HD screen, Snapdragon 835, 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM, 64 GB or 128 GB of storage, dual rear cameras and 3,600mAh battery.
