OnePlus 5T Pricing Could be 4,000 Yuan (~$602), OnePlus 5 Price May Get Slashed

Many smartphone manufacturers from China have launched full screen design smartphone and OnePlus seems to be the next major firm to join the league as it is speculated to launch OnePlus 5T with 18:9 display. OnePlus CEO Liu Zouhu seems to have given an important hint on the pricing of the OnePlus 5T phone.

The translated text of the above Weibo post from Zouhu reads “i cannot wait” which indicates that the OnePlus 5T’s arrival is close at hand. One of the recent tweets from the company hints that the OnePlus 5T will be unveiled in Manhattan, New York City.

When a OnePlus fan replies by saying that he is ready to spend 4,000 Yuan on the OnePlus 5T, Zuoho can be seen replying to him as “enough” which indicates that the pricing of the smartphone may not exceed that pricing.

In China, the 64 GB OnePlus 5 with 6 GB of RAM was launched with a pricing of 2,999 Yuan (~$452) and the 128 GB storage model with 8 GB of RAM was sold with a pricing of 3,499 Yuan ($527). It seems that the 4,000 Yuan (~$602) pricing that Zuoho has hinted could belong to its highest configuration model featuring 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Also, with the arrival of OP5T, the company may slash the pricing of OnePlus 5.
