After weeks of leaks, OnePlus has confirmed that it will be debuting the OnePlus 6T smartphone on Oct. 30. This debunks the rumors that had claimed that the OnePlus 6T would be announced on Oct. 17.

The above tweet is an official confirmed on the Oct. 30 launch date for OnePlus 6T. The unveil event will begin at 11 AM EDT in New York. The OnePlus 6T launch event will be livestreamed the official YouTube channel of OnePlus. OnePlus fans who wish to attend the event at New York will have to shell out $20 for a ticket. Apart from getting hands-on experience on the OnePlus 6T handset, fans will be able to meet community members of the company, a free pair of OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones that carries a regular price tag of $69 and an exclusive merchandise.
The OnePlus 6T smartphone will not be featuring a 3.5mm audio jack. It will be the first phone from the company to arrive with in-display fingerprint reader. As far as specs are concerned, the OnePlus 6T is expected to a waterdrop notch screen, a Snapdragon 845 chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 G of internal storage. The handset is rumored to arrive with a larger battery of 3,700mAh capacity.
