At the launch event of the OnePlus 6T in China, OnePlus had revealed the its new Thunder Purple color edition. It was speculated that the new color edition of the smartphone would be exclusively available in China. The company has now confirmed that the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple model would be coming to America, Europe and India.
The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple model will be coming to the U.S. and Europe on Nov. 15. On the very next day, the new color variant of the phone will be landing in India. The Thunder Purple model will be only available for OnePlus 6T’s variant that features 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of inbuilt storage. The same model is also available in two other options such as Mirror Black and Midnight Black. The Thunder Purple will be carrying the same price tag as the other color variants.
The OnePlus 6T is the first smartphone that features an in-display fingerprint reader. The handset lacks a 3.5mm audio jack. A 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED screen is available on the smartphone. The Snapdragon 845 chipset powers the smartphone. The base model of the phone has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The highest configuration variant has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage. A 3,700mAh battery is packed inside the phone.
For photography, it features a 16-megapixel selfie camera and 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera. It is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS.
