OnePlus 8T Pro May Not Launch with OnePlus 8T

OnePlus is rumored to be working on a few budget-friendly phones for this year. While there is no official confirmation yet, the company is speculated to launch them in the next few months. Rumors have also revealed that OnePlus is working on the launch of OnePlus 8T smartphone. A recent by Android Central had revealed all the major specs of the smartphone. Just as the company had launched the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro last year in the second half of 2019, the Chinese firm is speculated to announced OnePlus 8T Pro with the 8T phone. However, a new tweet from popular tipster Max J suggests that the company may not launch the OnePlus 8T Pro model this year.

Past reports have revealed that the OnePlus 8T is codenamed as Kebab. The crypt tweet suggests that there will not be a “Kebab2” handset. The “Kebab2” could be the codename for the OnePlus 8T Pro phone. When asked directly by someone, he confirmed that the company will not launch OnePlus 8T Pro.

The OnePlus 8T will arrive with a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen that will produce full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will sport the same punch-hole display design like the OnePlus 7T phone.

The Snapdragon 865 Plus mobile platform will power the device with 8 GB of RAM. The handset will have internal storage of 128 GB. It will come preinstalled with OxygenOS 11 based Android 11 OS.

The handset will have a 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel (wide-angle) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (portrait) quad-camera system. There is no word on its front camera and battery capacity yet. Some reports have claimed that the device may carry support for 65W fast charging.
