Speculations are rife that OnePlus is working on the OnePlus 8T series of flagship phones. It was found through the OxygenOS code that the OnePlus 8T is codenamed as Kebab. Android Central’s exclusive report corroborates on the codename and it has also revealed its key specifications.
OnePlus 8T Specifications (Rumored)
The OnePlus 8T will be arriving as the updated version of the OnePlus 8 that debuted earlier this year. The publication revealed that it will not have any significant change in appearance as compared to the OnePlus 8. A render showcasing the front design of the OnePlus 8T had recently appeared in the OxygenOS code. Hence, it is expected to come with a punch-hole display.
The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 7T came with a 90Hz refresh rate screen. The report reveals that the OnePlus 8T’s 6.55-inch S-AMOLED will support 120Hz refresh rate.
The Snapdragon 865 Plus is expected to power the OnePlus 8T. It may come with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The OnePlus 7T that debuted last year at the end of September was the first phone to come preloaded with Android 10 OS. It is speculated that the OnePlus 8T could be first phone with Android 11 OS. It will also feature the latest OxygenOS 11.
There is a 48-megapixel (main) + 16-megapixel (wide-angle) + 5-megapixel (macro) + 2-megapixel (portrait) quad-camera setup on the rear side of OnePlus 8T. The OnePlus 8 also features a 48-megapixel sensor, but the one available on the OnePlus 8T is expected to produce better photos.
