Prior to it’s launch, the official renders of the OnePlus 9 RT had apparently made it’s appearance on Chinese ecommerce site JD.com (via @stufflistings) which revealed everything we need to know about it’s front and rear design.

Upfront, the OnePlus 9RT will retain the same flat display with a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen, just like the OnePlus 9R. On the rear side, the design of it’s camera module is also pretty similar to the OnePlus 9R, except the OnePlus 9 RT has one less camera than the former.

In terms of specs, the company has confirmed in a fresh teaser that the device will be powered by an upgraded Snapdragon 888 chipset which will be paired with the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technologies in the memory department.

Similarly, the teaser also reaffirmed earlier claims that the device will adopt a Samsung E4 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate upfront, and is equipped with a respectable 4,500mAh battery which brings support for 65W fast wired-charging.

Although the teaser didn’t reveal anything with regards to it’s camera department, but past reports did suggest that the phone is swapping the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor (found in the OnePlus 9R) for a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor that’s found in the OnePlus 9 series phones.

Aside from that, it was also reported that the OnePlus 9RT will be the first OnePlus phone to be shipped with OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
