OnePlus Ace 2 Pro 3C certified, launch imminent

An upcoming OnePlus phone with model number PJA110 has received approval from the 3C authority of China. The same device was spotted last week in the database of Geekbench. While the Geekbench listing revealed the key specifications of the phone, the 3C certification has also revealed the charging capabilities. Speculations are rife that the PJA110 will be dubbed the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro when it arrives on the market.

The 3C certification of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro has revealed that it may ship with a 150W charger. To recall, the Ace 2 came with a 5,000mAh battery that supported 100W charging, whereas the Pro variant is expected to pack a larger battery of 5,500mAh.

Rumors are rife that the device will be called the OnePlus 12R in markets outside of China. While the Ace 2 Pro is expected to launch next month in the home market, the 12R may debut in Q1 2024.

Reports suggest that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro might sport a 6.74-inch curved OLED display with a high 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Ace 2 Pro will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Its highest variant could be equipped with 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage.

For photography, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro may feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a Sony IMX890 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support on the back. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera could join the primary camera. For security, it may feature an under-display fingerprint scanner, and it may run on ColorOS 13.1-based Android 13.
