OnePlus Ace 2 Pro key specifications tipped, launch likely in Q3

OnePlus is reportedly working on the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro flagship phone for China. It will be an improved version of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered OnePlus Ace 2, which was unveiled in February this year. Rumors are rife that it will be announced in the third quarter of this year. Today, leaker Digital Chat Station revealed the key specifications of the Ace 2 Pro.

According to the tipster, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will arrive with a 6.74-inch OLED display with curved edges. The display will support a 1.5K resolution, promising vibrant colors and sharp details. Additionally, the device may feature a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1440Hz PWM dimming. Interestingly, the Ace 2 Pro is said to share the same display as the OPPO Reno 10 Pro+, which debuted last week in China.

Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is speculated to house the upcoming overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. To ensure sustained performance during intensive tasks, the device is rumored to include a large heat dissipation area, dissipating heat efficiently and maintaining smooth operation even under heavy usage.

One of the most intriguing features mentioned in the leak is the reported support for 100W charging. If true, this technology would revolutionize the charging experience, enabling users to quickly replenish their device’s battery. In a previous leak, the tipster revealed that the device will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support.

Rumors are rife that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro may get rebranded as the OnePlus 11T in the global market. It is advisable to wait for further leaks to learn about the 11T.
