OnePlus has launched two Ace-branded models, such as the Ace 3 and Ace 3V in China in recent months. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipsets power the Ace 3 and Ace 3V, respectively. Rumor has it that the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will power the Ace 3 Pro. New leaks have shed information on its key specifications and launch timeframe.
According to tipsters Digital Chat Station and Assen, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will have an 8T LPTO OLED S1 screen from BOE. The screen will support a 1.5K resolution and offer a maximum brightness of 6,000 nits.
On the photography front, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel LYT800 primary camera. However, the camera setup might not provide significant enhancements compared to the Ace 2 Pro, which made its announcement in China in August 2023. There is no word about the front camera of the Ace 3 Pro.
The Ace 3 Pro reportedly boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 6,000mAh dual-cell battery that supports 100W fast charging. The device will sport a glass back and a metal middle frame, enhancing its durability. Previous reports have suggested that the topmost variant of the Ace 3 Pro will have 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to break cover in the third quarter of 2024.
In the last quarter of 2024, OnePlus may announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4-powered OnePlus 13. Expected features include a redesigned back panel, a new display from BOE, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
