In the recent past, OnePlus confirmed that it will launch a phone powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. This chip is expected to power the upcoming Turbo-branded phone from the company. Recent reports have suggested that it will end up as an Ace 6-series phone, suggesting that it could be called the Ace 6 Turbo when it hits the Chinese market. Ahead of the expected launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked key details about the device.

The above Weibo post, which has already been taken down, revealed the Ace 6 Turbo will be available in colour options like Flash Black, Electric Purple, and Glimpse Green. It will also be offered in a customised special edition, but its details are not known yet. Despite featuring a huge battery, the device will weigh around 216 grams.
The Ace 6 Turbo is said to feature a flat OLED panel that supports a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered phone will come equipped with features like a metal middle frame and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
At the same time, publication SmartPrix revealed that the device has a 6.71-inch display and a massive 8,000mAh battery with 100W charging support. On the front, it will feature a 32-megapixel selfie camera and its back panel will have a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual-camera system.
The OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo is also expected to come with other features like dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and NFC. The report claims that the device is being tested in India and may launch before the end of this year.
