Recently, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had revealed on his Chinese Weibo handle that company will be introducing a new “female-centric” color for their smartphones this year.
Although he didn’t specifically reveal the identity of the color, but he did hint that the color will be one which is well-loved by female. This came after numerous OnePlus users came forward with suggestions for the company to take considerations of the female users.
That’s certainly true to some extent. Besides the Red and Almond color options which are available to the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, the other color variants were slightly tilted towards men.
Perhaps, we could see the new color option from the upcoming OnePlus 8 series which will reportedly make it’s official debut in mid-April. According to reports, the upcoming OnePlus 8 series should feature a total of three devices including OnePlus 8 Lite, OnePlus 8, as well as OnePlus 8 Pro.
However, it remains a mystery if all three models will be treated to the new color option.
