OPPO A12 is an upcoming budget smartphone with Helio P35 SoC

Recently, we’d learned that OPPO is currently prepping a number of interesting smartphones which are expected to be announced within the next couple of months.

These device include the OPPO Ace 2, which is expected to be made official on April 13th, as well as the Reno5 series which is likely to debut in May.

However, besides these mid-ranger and flagship phones, there are also a few entry-level smartphones within OPPO’s pipeline. One of these devices include the upcoming OPPO A12.

OPPO A12 Render

Today, courtesy of the folks over at Pricebaba, we’re finally able to have our first look at the OPPO A12 ahead of it’s official unveiling.

As with most other entry-level smartphones, the OPPO A12 will be featuring a convetional dewdrop-notch display which is said to measure 6.22-inches diagonally. It will be a LCD panel that encompasses a HD+ screen resolution.

Over at the flip-side, there is a pill-shaped camera module which houses a pair of 13 megapixels (f/2.2 aperture) main shooter and a 2MP (f/2.4 aperture) secondary shooter. This will be accompanied with a 5 megapixels (f/2.0 aperture) selfie camera at the front.

For some reasons, the rear design of the OPPO A12 seems to remind us of the OPPO AX5, which also has the same stylish, diamond-shaped back cover.

Moving on to its internals, the OPPO A12 is said to be driven by a budget Helio P35 SoC coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and as much as 64GB onboard storage. It will be fueled by a mammoth 4,230mAh battery which is unlikely to support any fast-charging capability.
