OPPO has started teasing the launch of a new A-series handset named the OPPO A15 in India. A landing page for the device is now available on the Amazon India website. The Amazon listing currently has an image that reveals the rear design of the smartphone.
The OPPO A15 image reveals that it has a curved back which seems to be made out of polycarbonate material. A square-shaped camera housing is positioned at the top-left corner of the phone’s rear. The camera setup comprises of three camper sensors and an LED flash.
A fingerprint scanner is positioned in the upper half of the OPPO A15’s rear. The front design of the device is currently under wraps. The Amazon listing has no information on the specs of the OPPO A15. It is being speculated that an OPPO phone with model number CPH2185 that was recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) could be coming to Indian markets as the OPPO A15.
The reason behind it is that the FCC documents has a schematic of the phone’s back which resembles with the poster. The FCC certification of the smartphone revealed that it could be coming with a 4,230mAh battery with 10W charging support.
The smartphone will come preloaded with Android 10 OS that is skinned with the ColorOS 7.2 UI. It is also equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port. Besides FCC, it has also received certifications from the EEC and the Wi-Fi Alliance authority. Now that the retailer giant has started teasing the OPPO A15’s launch, it is likely to debut soon in the country. There is no word on the pricing of the device.
