OPPO has officially announced a new mid-ranger smartphone in Vietnam known as the OPPO A93. On first look, you can easily tell that the OPPO A93 is in fact a rebranded model of the current OPPO F17 Pro except for one single difference between the duo – charging speed.
Unlike the F17 Pro which comes with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast-charging support, the OPPO A93 features a toned down 18W fast-charging technology. Its battery capacity however, will be kept at the same 4,000mAh.
Other than that, the rest of the specs will remain unchanged. At the front, the OPPO A93 will be flaunting 6.43-inches dual-hole punched AMOLED display with FHD+ screen resolution with in-display fingerprint scanner.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P95 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is further expandable through a microSD card.
In the camera department, the OPPO A93 has a quad camera system at the back comprising of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels monochromatic sensors. This will be assisted by a pair of 16 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor at the front for selfie and video-calling purposes.
For those who’re interested, the OPPO A93 will be available in both Black and White color variants. It is priced at 7,490,000 Vietnamese Dong (US$324) for its sole 8GB+128GB model in Vietnam.
For those who’ve missed out, the OPPO A93 is also expected to be launched as the OPPO Reno4 F in select markets.
