OPPO will be launching the much anticipated OPPO K9 smartphone in the Chinese market on May 6th. However, prior to its launch, OPPO has quietly announced another mid-ranger smartphone in its home market known as the OPPO A95 5G.
Based on its design and specs, this device is pretty similar to the OPPO F19 Pro+ and OPPO A94 5G except for some differences in their camera department and charging speed.
Upfront, the OPPO A95 5G boasts a 6.43” AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a standard 60Hz screen refresh rate and a typical peak brightness of 430 nits.
In the camera department, the phone relies on a triple-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be rounded out by a 16 megapixels front-facing camera for selfie and video-calling purposes.
Under the hood, the OPPO A95 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage in the memory department that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
The OPPO A95 5G draws power from a respectable 4,310mAh battery which carries support for 30W fast-charging. Other than that, the device also features the custom ColorOS 11.1 (based on Android 11 OS), 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.
For those who’re interested, the OPPO A95 5G is available in three different colors including Black, Silver and Blue. The device is priced at 1,999 Yuan (US$308) and 2,299 Yuan (US$354) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
