OPPO is going to announce the OPPO K9 5G phone on May 6 in China. Last week, the handset was made available for pre-orders through leading online retailers in China. Today, the company has listed the OPPO K9 5G phone on its official website to reveal some of its key specs.
The OPPO K9 5G has a 6.43-inch S-AMOLED punch-hole screen. It supports a Full HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a sixth generation in-screen fingerprint scanner. It has a slim profile of 7.9mm and it weighs only 172 grams.
The K9 5G promises an enhanced gaming experience as it features a gaming-focused Snapdragon 768G chipset that clocks at 2.8GHz. It is equipped with a 3D liquid cooling system for heat dissipation. It is backed by a 4,300mAh battery that supports 65W rapid charging, which can fully charge it in 35 minutes. The company claims that charging it for only 5 minutes will offer users 133 minutes of gameplay time.
The rear camera setup of the OPPO K9 5G includes a 64-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter, and a 2-megapixel lens as the third camera, It is fitted with a selfie camera of 32-megapixel. The OPPO K9 5G will be available in two colors like Spades-K (black) and Wings of Symphony (blue gradient).
At present, there is no word on the pricing of the device. Apart from launching the OPPO K9 5G, the company will be also announcing a couple of new products like the OPPO Smart TV K9, Enco Air TWS, and a new edition of OPPO Band. The above snapshots that the Smart TV K9 will come in multiple sizes like 43-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch. It is expected to carry a starting price of 2,999 Yuan ($400).
