OPPO PEXM00 Phone Bags TENAA Certification, Reveals Images and Key Specs

A mysterious OPPO smartphone with model number PEXM00 has received approval from the TENAA certification body of China. The listing has revealed the key specifications and images of the device. Another source has revealed the configurations of the front and rear cameras of the phone.

The OPPO PEXM00 smartphone has 159.1 x 73.4 x 7.9mm dimensions. The smartphone has a 6.43-inch display, but it is unclear whether the device has a punch-hole screen or a teardrop notch. It seems to be fitted with an OLED screen with an in-screen fingerprint reader.

The right side of the OPPO PEXM00 features volume up and down buttons. The right edge of the device has a power key. It has a unique rear camera module on the back, which houses a triple camera system and an LED flash.

The listing further mentions that the phone will run on Android 11 OS. It has a 2,100mAh dual-cell battery and it is highly likely to carry support for rapid charging.

A camera benchmarking platform has revealed that the phone could be sporting a 64-megapixel main rear camera. For capturing selfies, the handset seems to be equipped with a front camera of 32-megapixel. While many details of the phone have appeared, it is unclear with which name it will be hitting the Chinese markets.

In related news, an OPPO phone with model number PEPM00 was recently approved by the 3C authority of China. The handset is expected to arrive with specs like a punch-hole OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate support, Dimensity 1200 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of built-in storage, ColorOS 11.1 based Android 11 OS, and 65W fast charging. It is speculated to debut as an OPPO Reno6 series smartphone. It remains to be seen whether the newly spotted OPPO PEXM00 also debut as a Reno6 lineup model.
