OPPO Ace2 EVA Limited Edition goes official in China

Last time round, OPPO has partnered with Gundam franchise for the release of the OPPO Reno Ace Gundam Edition which was quickly sold out during the first few rounds of sale.

This year, OPPO has picked Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise as their partner for the release of the highly anticipated OPPO Ace2 Eva Limited Edition which has been made official today. As usual, this limited edition model comes with a custom Evangelion-inspired rear design along with exclusive accessories.

Other than its cosmetic differences, the OPPO Ace2 EVA Edition will come with the same specs as the other OPPO Ace2 models. It will feature a 6.5-inches FHD + OLED display which has a buttery-smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. The front display utilizes a hole-punch design to house its 16 megapixels selfie camera on the top-left corner.

Over on its flip-side, the device has a sleek dual-curved back panel which is affixed with a circular camera module. This module is home to a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48 megapixels main shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels portrait lens.

At the helm, the OPPO Ace2 Eva Edition is driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 platform capable of supporting both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. This will be coupled with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 flash storage.

To keep its lights on, there will be a massive 4,000mAh battery which comes with support for the latest 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging technology. Besides that, it is also able to support the brand new 40W AirVOOC wireless charging technologywhich could bring the device from 0 to 100% within a short span of just 56 minutes.

In the Chinese market, OPPO Ace2 Eva Edition will retail for 4,399 Yuan (US$615) for its sole 8GB+256GB model.
