Although the OPPO F17 was already launched alongside the F17 Pro last week, but its only today that the official pricing of the vanilla model was revealed.
As expected, the OPPO F17 is priced competitively to ensure that it remains attractive in an overcrowded mid-ranger market. In the Indian market, the device will be priced at INR17,990 (US$245/ S$335) and INR19,990 (US$272 /S$372) respectively for its 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB models respectively.
As a quick recap, the OPPO F17 has a 6.4-inches FHD+ Super AMOLED display which employs a dewdrop-notch design to house its 16 megapixels selfie camera at the front.
On its rear, the device has four cameras housed within a squarish module. These cameras include a 16 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels monochromatic sensors.
Under the hood, the OPPO F17 is driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 chipset which will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that could be further expanded via a microSD card.
The device draws power from a respectable 4,000mAh battery which comes with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast-charging support. On the software-side, it will boot on the ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10 OS.
Other than that, the OPPO F17 also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
