OPPO announced the OPPO F19, F19 Pro, and F19 Pro+ smartphones earlier this year in India. Fresh information shared by 91mobiles reveals that the company is now gearing up to launch a special edition phone called the OPPO F19s in India.
The publication has learned through industry sources that the OPPO F19s special edition phone will be aimed towards the upcoming festive season in India. In 2020, OPPO had launched a special OPPO F17 Pro Diwali Edition smartphone in October in India. Probably, the F19s may break cover in October in the country.
Unfortunately, the report has no information on the specifications and features of the F19s. The F19 is available with a starting price of Rs 18,990 ($256) in India, whereas its Pro model is available for Rs 21,990 ($296). Probably, the F19s may get slotted between the F19 and F19 Pro smartphones.
OPPO F19 and F19 Pro Specifications
The OPPO F19 and F19 Pro feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with an in-display fingerprint scanner. Both smartphones have a 16-megapixel front camera. The vanilla model has a 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple camera unit, whereas the Pro model has a quad-camera unit featuring an additional 8-megapixel camera.
The F19 has a Snapdragon 662 chip, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. The Pro model has an Helio P95 chip, 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB / 256 GB of storage, and a 4,310mAh battery that offers 30W fast charging. Both devices come preinstalled with ColorOS 11.1 based Android 11 OS.
